Ekin Keser

Artist

11.05.2024-31.05.2024

Ekin Keser uses various materials such as found objects, various objects and old photographs in her interdisciplinary productions. The works she creates in the projection of many different practices such as drawing, video, installation, photography, text and archive-documentation examine issues such as body, existence, rights and equality, LGBTI+ rights, nature and its representation, veganism and social structures, social mores. In her works, she constructs a linear narrative in material and conceptual dimensions while opening up complex issues of the past and present for discussion. She creates silent networks of signs between spaces, people and situations, and continues to explore new possibilities of imagination. She opens the bidirectional reading of the image, its negative-positive illusions to scrutiny, and presents the discoveries in her practice with images in fragmental structures on the axis of stakeholding like a public research.
