İlker Cihan Biner writes texts in which socio-political research and current issues are analyzed with theories. While preparing his texts in fields such as contemporary art, literature, fashion and popular culture, he combines today’s interdisciplinary practices with a harmony and opens up real issues, past ties, invisible issues between art and politics to discussion in his writings. Within the production networks of theory, reality, life, politics and art, he also appears as a good observer and a sharp debater between life and fictions. Biner, who carries the traces of his legal background in his writings and researches, plays an active role as an active writer in the difficult borders of the world between art and politics, and does not refrain from transforming the unspeakable into a vocal text by writing. He is a member of AICA Turkey (Association Internationale des Critiques d’Art / International Association of Art Critics).
