*Elizabeth Wewiora is an artist, curator-maker, and educator. She is currently Head of Social Practice at Open Eye Gallery (Liverpool) and Master of Art and Design Programme Leader at the University of Salford. In her various roles, she is interested in how creating collective creative experiences can foster positive social change. As part of her cross-cutting role between Open Eye Gallery and the University of Salford, she runs a national ‘Socially Engaged Photography Network’, an initiative that encourages discussion and acceleration of community-led and co-authored photographic work. Her work takes place ‘in residence’ in health, social care, justice, social housing, learning and nature-based environments, from Allotment Society UK to NHS England and Age UK. www.elizabeth-wewiora.com
